How to Brew

Step 1

Pull the plunger

Place french press on a flat and dry surfaces. Pull plunger from the pot.

Step 2

Add ground coffee and hot water

Add 3 heaped tablespoons (20g) of coarse ground coffee and 300ml of hot water to the French Press.

*Do not use fine grounds as the coffee grounds will fall through the Mesh Filter*

Step 3

Stir it

Stir the coffee and close the lid securely. Turn the spout opening away from the spout.

Step 4

Let the coffee brew

Allow coffee to brew for about 4 minutes or according to your preference.

Step 5

Push the plunger and remove the plunger

When the coffee has finished brewing, gently push the plunger down slowly. If the filter becomes clogged, remove the plunger, stir the coffee and then plunge again.
